Why We Built This Site
Public access to many Tennessee court files is broad, but Dickson County divides custody among several clerks. Circuit Court records are kept by Pam Lewis, Chancery records by Lynn Collins, and General Sessions dockets by Leslie Shelton. Participating trial courts use TnCIS Web Inquiry, while appellate history appears in a different state portal. This site organizes confirmed contact details, request routes, search instructions, and case-number guidance so readers can select the proper official source.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Dickson County
- Court dates and settings: how to use the court dates resources and confirm a setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case lookup by party name or case number
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the correct clerk
What We Cannot Do
This privately operated reference site is not connected with a Tennessee court, clerk, or government agency. As a result, it cannot perform any of these tasks:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
An official or certified docket sheet must come from the clerk or the court that holds the case. This resource can identify that office, but it cannot supply the document.
Search Partners
Outside companies operate search boxes found on certain pages. They control their services, fees, and results. A paid enrollment reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment to us, which supports free access to this site. We neither set the provider's price nor determine the information it returns.
